Kathy Martin Harrison is the owner and CEO of the Ed Martin Automotive Group, founded by her father in 1955. According to the Indianapolis Business Journal, the company is the largest Indianapolis-area woman-owned business. Previously, Martin Harrison owned Martin Realty and KAH Designs. She attended Indiana University and Franklin College before transferring to Butler and earning a bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 1979. She is a member of Butler’s Board of Visitors and the LAS Dean’s Advisory Council. She is the Founder and past President of the Indy SurviveOars dragon boat racing team for breast cancer survivors. Martin Harrison was on the founding board of directors for the Ryan White Foundation in 1990. She was also on the founding committee who brought the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to Indianapolis in 1991. She has served on many community boards, including for the Junior League of Indianapolis, Indiana Sports Corporation, YWCA, Lawrence Township School Foundation, and the John Stewart Foundation.

Mark Minner serves as Senior Vice President at NFP, a Aon company. Prior to the acquisition, he was President & Chief Strategy Officer for the Indianapolis-based consulting firm FirstPerson. Since 2013, Minner has served as the play-by-play “Voice of the Butler Bulldogs” for men’s basketball broadcasts on the PNC Butler Radio Network. He has called other sporting events for Fox Sports and the Big East Digital Network, as well as NCAA championships for Turner Sports. Minner is a 2012 graduate of Butler, with dual degrees in both Marketing and Electronic Journalism. In 2019, Minner was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” list. In 2016, he was awarded Employee Benefit Advisors’ “Rising Star in Advising” honor. In the community, Minner is an active member of the Penrod Society, is a mentor for the Exodus Refugee organization, is one of the founding board members of the NIL collective, All Good Dawgs, and has served on the executive committee for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s “Light the Night” event.
Current Profession
Chris became president and CEO of Versiti on February 1, 2017, after a 20+ year career exclusively in healthcare. He is first and foremost a patient and donor advocate, while also passionate about the employee experience of 2,200 Versiti colleagues across multiple states. Chris and his leadership team have built a One Versiti culture, stoked the flame of innovation both organically and inorganically, invested in infrastructure, established Ohio as a fifth Versiti state, and led the organization to well over $400M in annual revenue.
Prior to joining Versiti, Chris served as group vice president and global immunology franchise head at Shire, helping to bring medicine to patients around the world and shaping the strategy for a $2.5 billion biopharmaceutical franchise. In his previous role at Baxalta, he was vice president of plasma strategy and new product development. Chris also worked for Baxter International as vice president of U.S. bioscience national accounts and spent 17 years with Eli Lilly and Company, most recently as general manager of their Australia and New Zealand operation.
Chris earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 2000 and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Butler University in 1996. He was also a three-year starter on Butler’s basketball team and named an Academic All-American in 1995.
In June 2021, Chris joined the Butler University Board of Trustees. He was also appointed to the Board of Directors of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: AJG) in March 2020, becoming the Governance committee chair in 2023; and was elected to the Medical College of Wisconsin Board in 2018.
Chris and his wife Nicole live in Whitefish Bay, WI, and stay busy with their three children Sage, Mace, and Crew.
Murdock is a purpose-driven, action-oriented, servant-leader and proud product of Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Butler University in 2017 with degrees in Political Science and Religion. After graduating from Butler, he pursued his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, graduating in May of 2022. In addition to lecturing at Butler, Murdock coaches Black entrepreneurs on how to leverage the power in their stories to grow their businesses, brands and communities. He also serves on the Advisory Board for Butler University’s Hub for Black Affairs & Community Engagement.
